WASHINGTON PARK, Ill. - A Shiloh, Illinois, man was shot to death early Tuesday morning at a MetroLink station in the Metro East.The shooting occurred just before 5:30 a.m., following an altercation between two individuals at the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Station. The shooter ran from the station while the victim stayed on the train until the Washington Park station.Our Bommarito Automotive Group SkyFOX helicopter was flying over the area, where medical staff could be seen administering chest compressions to a person before they were taken away in an ambulance. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A Chesterfield, Missouri, man is accused of breaking into two a pair of Creve Coeur businesses more than a week ago.According to a report filed by the Creve Coeur Police Department, the robberies occurred on July 16.Police went to the 12300 block of Olive Boulevard for a triggered alarm at Smart Mouth. People are lining up to enjoy a soak at the Iron Mountain Hot Springs and their newest attraction, the Upriver upgrade, which opened June 30.The 21 and older section is only $10 more than the regular price and includes “experience pools” with mineral recipes from around the world. Annual passholders 21 and older can access the new pools at no additional charge.The new section features two freshwater pools, a cold plunge pool and some people’s favorite perk — no children. Specific wristbands are given to guests who are of age and pay for the Upriver section and a gate separates the sections requiring the guests to scan their wristband to open the gate. Guests can go back and forth between the two sides, since they are paying for the full experience, and the local hot spring company wouldn’t want you to miss out on the natural spring water they are known for.
